Big Cottonwood Marathon in Salt Lake City. The “controlled falling” marathon is not a favorite genre, but the views are nice and it offers me an opportunity to spend time with Deb Greene, so why not? Fun fact: The first Kentucky Fried Chicken was not in Kentucky. Col. Sanders’ restaurant was called “Sanders Court and CafĂ©” he franchised the recipe to a friend in SLC who renamed his own restaurant “Kentucky Fried Chicken.”
