BLT #183 at Spring Hill Marathon Mania in Spring Hill, FL. A Florida-flat out and back course on the Suncoast bicycle trail in Hernando and Pasco Counties. The good: This was a cheap race when I paid for it in 2018. When I was a no-show last year due to injury/depression The race director took it upon himself to defer my registration to this year. How nice is that? The bad: The course is incredibly dull. I probably wouldn’t repeat this course. Fun fact: Willie Sutton, who spent 40 years robbing banks and escaped from prison three times, spent his last days in Spring Hill, Florida with his sister. Bonus Fun Fact: He also never said that he robs banks because that’s where the money is.
