Due to the recent snow in Vegas the regularly scheduled marathon course was replaced with a looped course. 3000 feet of climbing made this feel like endless hill work. A beautiful course, but I was bored by mile 8. Add to that a sinus infection and today was a rough day. Fun fact: Fredrick Smith, founder of FedEx, gambled FedEx’s last $5000 in Las Vegas and won $27,000 to pay FedEx’s $24,000 fuel bill. That kind of sounds like it would be a crime, but whatever.
