As you may have heard the Godfather of Soul passed away Christmas morning.
No, that one's been dead for a couple of years.
You know, the Hardest Workin' Man in Show Business, Soul Brother Number One, Mr. Dynamite, Minister of The New New Super Heavy Funk, Mr. Please Please Please, or (with apologies to Mr. Springsteen) The Boss?
I feel good!
Anyway he passed away in the early hours of Christmas morning in an Atlanta hospital. He will be sorely missed. Here follows a small tribute courtesy of Eddie Murphy.
