NFC/AFC Championship

Posted by Seth Kramer on Friday, January 19th 2007 at 2:34pm

Sunday is a big day. First there's the NFC Championship game (Saints @ Bears) and then there's the AFC Championship game (Pats @ Colts). Now I've never been a big football fan, but I just had to weigh in on this one. After all how often does playoff time allow us to root for both God (Saints) and Country (Patriots)?

Now I have my own wishes for who should win. I think the Saints deserve their first Super Bowl after a year of this douche:

Douchebag Mayor of New Orleans

And I grew up in Indiana so I naturally expect Manning to choke like Bush on a pretzel.

But I think we need a more scientific evidence for our predictions. So I turn to the most scientifically advanced piece of fuck-aroundery in the world: The Internets.

NFC Game

As much as it pains me to say it. I think the Bears take the Saints. I mean who could forget Superbowl CMLXXVI in the Roman Coliseum, Saints versus the Lions. They were murdered.

But let's turn to Google.

Search on Bears 116 Million pages
Search on Saints 69.9 Million pages

I think the only hope for the Saints is appealing to Saint Sebastian the patron saint of athletes, or Vitus, patron saint of dangerous animal attacks. Sorry Catholics, but you guys are wierd.

AFC Game

So that just leaves the Patriots and the Colts. A simple Google image search should settle this:

Modesty doesn't permit me to show you the first image for "Patriot", but suffice to say this is the second one

"Colt" image search.

Don't fuck it up Manning.

Bingo. I think we can easily see that the Colts are the winners here. Mel, if you've got a problem with that. Blame it on the Jews, I'm sure it's their fault. Go Colts!

I don't know about your methodology, but you did pick the winners. Good call! And oh yeah, GO COLTS!
