Sometimes everything just comes together. This was not one of those times. It’s a finish anyway. My third Wyoming marathon. 91st lifetime marathon or longer, 27th of the calendar year. You’d think at a certain point I’d get the hang of this. We’ll try again Monday. For now, good views, great friends, and free beer.
Casper marathon. Nice little race. Some hills, altitude, and a little warmth. And a little time to kill in Denver. Fun fact: Casper was named after Fort Caspar which was named after Lieutenant Caspar Collins, who died in battle in 1865 against the Lakota and Cheyenne. The city was accidentally misspelled in its incorporating documents….
