Paced the Angel Fire Adventure Marathon, in New Mexico. No matter how many times he warned me I wouldn’t listen to Grant Stieglitz. Altitude out there is rough, and the hills didn’t make it easier. My pacee Karen was mostly worried about being attacked by a bear. I’m pleased to say we avoided a mauling despite being desperate for oxygen. Also due to what I can only assume is either a rift in the space-time continuum or a lack of other participants in my age group, I took first in my age group.
