Marathon #98, and #34 for the year at the Kansas City Marathon. Anticipating this as the toughest of the triple double (hilly and humid), my goal time was 4:20, actual 4:20:49. Big thanks to the hospitality of Dan and Paula for putting Amy and I up, feeding us, and generally playing Mom and Dad, and Melissa Wood for the rideshare. Lots of friends on the course I forgot to snap a photo of (JM Gabriel, and Bill Beardall come to mind) Fun fact: Mickey Mouse was actually created, not by Walt Disney, but by his friend and sometime partner, Kansas City native Ub Iwerks.
