Pam Provencher’s big triple-digit half marathon day! Way to go, Pam I was happy to have shared at least a couple of races with you. I signed up for this race when Clarence DeMar was threatening to cancel due to heat. Instead today’s race was 30 degrees at the start. Fortunately no bone-chilling wind. Hills on the front end (just enough to keep us honest) but flat rails to trail on the back end. I would characterize this as a road marathon but my usual definition of a trail is “did you fall?” And a technical trail as “did it draw blood?” By that definition this was a technical trail marathon as I tripped at mile 20 and skinned my knee.
