Lifetime BLT #96, #32 Year to Date. Fort4Fitness Marathon. No fog today, just got tired. First half was <2 hours, but the back half I was trying to keep it under 4:15. I missed it by a couple minutes. The course is designed as 4 loops. You do a 3 mile loop, then do the other 3 races scheduled for the morning: a 10k, a half marathon, and a 4 miler. Up side, you can see your friends doing the 10k, the half marathon, and the 4 miler, but depending on your pace, you may wind up stuck behind the 4 miler walkers for instance. Which is exactly what happened to me. For an inaugural marathon it went very well. I would do this race again. Now for some quality time with mom.
